Ink Fingerprinting

Traditional rolled-ink fingerprint cards, done right the first time. Still required by the FBI, USCIS, and many out-of-state and federal agencies.

Overview

Rolled Cards, Accepted Nationwide

Ink fingerprinting uses physical, rolled-ink cards β€” most commonly the FBI's FD-258 β€” that many agencies still require. Because a poorly rolled card gets rejected, technique matters: our trained staff take care to capture clean, complete impressions the first time.

We can provide the FD-258 card, or use the specific card your agency sent. Bring your paperwork and a photo ID, and we'll get you rolled and ready to mail.

Ink Fingerprinting FAQ

When do I need ink cards instead of Live Scan?

Use ink when the requesting agency specifically asks for a physical card (like the FD-258) β€” common for FBI, USCIS/immigration, and many out-of-state or federal applications. For most state-level submissions, Live Scan is faster.

Do you provide the FD-258 card?

Yes. We keep FD-258 cards on hand, or we can roll onto the specific card your agency provided. Just let us know what you need.

How many cards can you roll?

As many as your application requires β€” many agencies ask for two copies. Bring all the cards your instructions call for and we'll complete each one.

Do you mail the cards or do I?

We hand the completed cards back to you to mail with your application, unless your agency's instructions specify otherwise. Bring your mailing details and we'll make sure everything's in order.
