Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about our services.

Do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are welcome whenever possible, but appointments are strongly encouraged to guarantee prompt service. Call 908-460-3905 or use our contact form to schedule.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, debit, and most major credit cards. Employer-billed services can also be arranged for established business accounts.

What ID do I need to bring?

You'll need a current, government-issued photo ID β€” such as a driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID. Some services may require additional documents (e.g., an ORI number for fingerprinting or authorization form for drug testing).

How long does a drug test take?

Most drug screenings are completed in under 15 minutes. Rapid (instant) results are available for many non-DOT tests; lab-based confirmations typically return within 24–72 hours.

What's the difference between DOT and Non-DOT drug testing?

DOT testing follows strict federal regulations (49 CFR Part 40) for safety-sensitive transportation workers and uses a standardized 5-panel screen. Non-DOT testing is customized by the employer or individual and can include different panels, specimens, and procedures.

What is the difference between Livescan and ink fingerprinting?

Livescan captures fingerprints electronically and transmits them digitally to the requesting agency β€” faster, cleaner, and ideal for state-level submissions. Ink fingerprinting uses physical cards (such as FD-258) required by the FBI, USCIS, and many out-of-state or federal agencies.

Are your DNA tests court-admissible?

Yes. We offer both at-home informational DNA testing and legal chain-of-custody collection that is accepted by courts, attorneys, and immigration authorities.

How long does a background check take?

Most background reports are completed within 1–3 business days, depending on the depth of the search and the responsiveness of records sources.

Do you notarize documents on weekends?

Our standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Weekend and after-hours notary appointments may be available by request.

Can I set up an account for my business?

Absolutely. We work with employers to build customized screening programs, including DOT random pools, employee testing accounts, and bulk fingerprinting. Contact us to discuss your needs.
